First Bethel United Methodist Church
Confirmation

Confirmation in the United Methodist Church is the decision a person makes to respond to God's grace with intentional commitment, publicly reaffirming his or her baptismal vows before the congregation. First Bethel offers confirmation preparation classes for eighth grade students every year from January to May.

During confirmation classes, the confirmands learn about the meaning of Christian faith, the history and teachings of the United Methodist Church, and the baptismal and membership vows they will be professing. In addition to class study and preparation led by our pastors, learning-enrichment activities such as field trips, retreats, and special projects are planned for this special time during the life of a Christian.

Are you interested in having your child join this year’s confirmation class? Please e-mail Info@FirstBethelUMC.org.

Meets January-May annually.
