In a sense, prayer ministries at First Bethel happen all the time in many different ways that only God could know. It’s just that some of these ways have been organized so that it’s easier for folks to pray for one another.
Prayer request cards are collected each week during worship. These requests can be shared during worship, on the prayer list, in the newsletter, or only with the pastor—whatever is the preference of the person making the request. And, of course, prayer requests can always be made directly to the pastors.
Each week, prayer partners commit to pray for everyone on the prayer list. In addition, prayer chain volunteers make “strong links” when called upon for prayer during extraordinary times of need.
At First Bethel, we believe that prayer changes things. We invite you to pray for our church, and we will continue to pray for you!
