The Inviting Ministries team works towards the goal of making sure that visitors to First Bethel are welcomed warmly. Greeters are coordinated and scheduled so that visitors and members alike are met at the door on Sunday morning. A small welcome gift and information packet is available for visitors, and visiting children receive their very own gift!
Members of Inviting Ministries mail letters to recent homebuyers in the area, welcoming newcomers to stop by First Bethel for a visit. The team also represents First Bethel ad local Community Days, offering a craft for children and information and conversation for adults.
Inviting Ministries is always looking for new and creative ways to reach out to the people of Bethel Park and the surrounding communities to let them know that First Bethel United Methodist Church might just be what they’ve been looking for!
