As clear and bright as the ringing of a bell, but easy to learn for musical beginners, chimes are a beautiful element of our music ministry. Hearing them in worship brings joy to the heart of every listener!
At First Bethel, fourth- through sixth-grade chimers learn the basics of note reading and music fundamentals and become familiar with traditional songs and hymns of the Church. No prior music experience is necessary. Chimes rehearsal is under the musical direction of Ruth Finlay.
This is a fun and educational opportunity, and a time-honored tradition here at First Bethel. It is also a great way for the youngest members of our First Bethel family to offer their talents to God in worship.
