Okay, so you don’t need to know the formula for the quadratic equation to be a counter—but it helps for you to have a passion for service and organization. Counters are trusted members of First Bethel who volunteer to calculate the Sunday offerings and make bank deposits. Their efforts are a vital step in connecting the givers of financial gifts to their receivers. It is as important a discipleship opportunity at First Bethel as any.
